We have comprehensive experience in managing and providing support for all stages of cost planning and active project management, advising on contracts (and amendments to standard forms), templates, valuations and applications for payment, additional works, variations, compensation events, delays and claims.
We understand that individual trades and small subcontractors occasional have problem contracts and need practical advice on affordable ways of settling claims, disputes and final accounts. The sooner we get involved in difficult contracts the more assistance we can potentially provide. See our subcontractors section.

Firms and small companies that already have experience of working for main contractors will need no introduction to the occasional necessity for external cost management. This could be anything from pre contract advice, lack of familiarity of contract in how to do monthly valuations and applications for payment or difficulties with ‘variations’ and extra work not being properly recognised, valued or paid for. It can even be a full on dispute. We offer affordable advice and solutions to resolve issues whilst trying to maintain margins.
For sole traders and small builders, the usual source of problems is late or non payment and what to do about. Adjudication is intended to be a quick low cost solution tailored to avoid the courts but it can be a difficult process for the uninitiated. We can also assist if needed with trade supplier difficulties and insurance issues.
We advise on likely costs and outcomes, not pursuing relief if it is too expensive or time consuming.
